Insanely MAY

I'm way insanely MAY,
and I cannot fight it.
I knew it was not a play,
when this fire was lit.

I'm way insanely MAY,
and urged to find a way
to get you to feel the same
so we have a common aim.

I'm way insanely MAY
and God's tired of my pray *
begging for you to stay
by my side every day.

I'm way insanely MAY,
so it's time I dared say,
because this is no new,
that I'm Mad About You!

* Note: I am completely aware of the fact that pray is a verb, and I should have used the word prayer instead. Nonetheless, the noun itself (prayer) would have ruined the rhyme. I took the liberty of using the verb as a noun since this in an option to which any author is entitled.
